Edward Lowe, DMD
Edward Lowe, B.Sc., D.M.D., is a 1986 graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry who established and heads the West End Dental Centre in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
Dr. Lowe is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Crown Council. In addition, he is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a charter member and director of the Western
Canada Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has taken and continues to take numerous continuing education courses in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry and keeps his knowledge of materials and applications on the cutting edge by reviewing current newsletters and publications in advanced esthetics. In an effort to teach what he has learned to other dentists, Dr. Lowe has written several published articles on esthetic dentistry which have appeared in Dentistry Today, Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice, Oral Health, Signature, and Practical Periodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lowe is a graduate of the Advanced Esthetic Programs at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. David Hornbrook has currently retained him as a clinical instructor and co-director of the Functional Advanced Posterior Program for his Pacific Aesthetic Continuum ( P.A.C.-live) in San Francisco, California. In addition to being an evaluator and speaker for several dental product manufacturers including Ivoclar-Vivadent, 3M, Kerr, and Dentsply, Dr.Lowe is an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He was recently added to the advisory board of “Signature”, Ivoclar-Vivadent’s clinical journal.
Dr. Lowe has dedicated his practice to informing and educating his patients and colleagues about esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He believes that improving his patient’s smiles, through “conservative esthetic dental techniques” has a positive impact on their overall appearance and self-confidence.
